I'll analyze sideboard card usage in Eldrazi Ramp, comparing versions with and without Icetill Explorer.
Now I'll get the most used sideboard cards in Eldrazi Ramp overall, then query the database to compare usage with and without Icetill Explorer.
Analyzing sideboard choices in Eldrazi Ramp reveals distinct patterns between builds with and without Icetill Explorer. Among 141 total decks from the last 60 days, 80 ran Icetill Explorer while 61 did not. The Icetill builds strongly favor Disruptor Flute at 81.3% presence compared to just 36.1% in non-Icetill versions. Grafdigger's Cage also sees much higher adoption with Icetill at 68.8% versus 29.5% without. Void Mirror appears almost exclusively in Icetill lists at 48.8% presence while essentially absent from traditional builds.
The non-Icetill versions prioritize different disruption: Consign to Memory appears in 44.3% of these builds but is completely absent from Icetill sideboards. The Stone Brain sees 49.2% presence without Icetill versus only 20% with it. Land destruction appears unique to non-Icetill builds, with Stone Rain at 26.2% presence. Both variants agree on Trinisphere as the top sideboard card, appearing in 83.8% of Icetill builds and 77% of non-Icetill versions.
The core difference appears to be that Icetill versions lean heavily into artifact-based hate pieces like Disruptor Flute and Grafdigger's Cage, while traditional builds spread their sideboard slots across broader answers including exile effects and land destruction. Dismember remains popular in both at 77.5% and 55.7% respectively.
