@takhs25453628 Here is the breakdown of flex slots for Standard Izzet Prowess, ranked by tournament prevalence (last 60 days, 2,566 decks sampled). Cards appearing in nearly all builds are considered core and excluded from the flex analysis.

MAINBOARD FLEX SLOTS (ranked best to worst by presence):

The true locked-in core is Stormchaser's Talent, Slickshot Show-Off, Sleight of Hand, Opt, Burst Lightning, and Flow State (all above 91% presence). Everything below that is flex.

  1. Multiversal Passage (89%) - near-core at this point, strong cantrip role
  2. Eddymurk Crab (68%) - solid threat that many lists run 3-4 copies
  3. Spell Pierce (55%) - maindeck counterspell that many run 1-2 copies
  4. Roaring Furnace / Steaming Sauna (53%) - versatile dual-mode spell
  5. Get Out (51%) - removal/tempo tool
  6. Secret Identity (50%) - enchantment payoff, often a 2-of
  7. Impractical Joke (49%) - cheap spell for prowess trigger and interaction
  8. Vibrant Outburst (45%) - sees less play but still in nearly half of lists
