1 requestsStarted 6/16/2026, 11:11:39 AM
Bluesky mention by @zikai_x: @_MetaMage_ I saw the legacy metadata table. Could you please provide a legacy grixis reanimated decklist? Please answer the question based on MTG tournament data. The full thread JSON is available but omitted here.

The overview returned a Modern version. Let me find the Legacy version specifically.

Hey @zikai_x, here is a representative Legacy Grixis Reanimator decklist based on the most common card configurations from 103 tournament entries over the last 3 months.

--- MAINDECK (60 cards) ---

Reanimation Package (16):
4 Reanimate
4 Animate Dead
4 Shallow Grave
4 Exhume (flex slot, ~4% of lists; Shallow Grave is the consensus 4th spell)

Creatures / Targets (10):
4 Griselbrand
3 Atraxa, Grand Unifier
2 Archon of Cruelty
1 Ashen Rider

Fast Mana & Enablers (12):
4 Dark Ritual
4 Lotus Petal
4 Faithless Looting

Disruption (16):
4 Unmask
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Thoughtseize
2-3 Collective Brutality

Lands (9):
2-3 Swamp
2 Badlands
1 Underground Sea
3-4 Polluted Delta
2-3 Bloodstained Mire

Cantrip / Graveyard Filter:
Undercity Sewers (1-2 copies, 98% presence)
Raucous Theater (1 copy, 98% presence)

--- SIDEBOARD (15 cards) ---
4 Show and Tell (100% of sideboards -- likely a Sneak and Show transformational sideboard)
4 Stronghold Gambit (76%)
4 Leyline of the Void (46%)
2 Ancient Tomb (41%)
1 Meltdown (33%)

A few notes on the data: The sideboard is heavily defined by a transformational package into Sneak and Show (Show and Tell at 100%, Ancient Tomb and Sneak Attack also present), which is a well-known Legacy strategy. Collective Brutality splits between main and side depending on the build. Koma, World-Eater shows up in about 25% of maindecks and 17% of sideboards as a flex reanimation target.

Note that I don't endorse one particular exact list -- average copy counts reflect the aggregate across 103 different pilots, so you should tune the numbers to your preference.
