Now I have the TES archetype ID and the top archetypes. Let me run all the head-to-head matchups in parallel.
Here is TES's matchup matrix in Legacy from June 29 to July 21, 2026. Overall winrate across all matches in the window is 55.2% (32W-26L). Note that TES had relatively few total matches (58), so per-matchup sample sizes are small -- treat extreme results with caution.
Matchup results (TES win%, W-L, total matches):
vs. Energy: 100% (3-0, 3 matches)
vs. Dimir Midrange: 100% (2-0, 2 matches)
vs. Lands: 100% (1-0, 1 match)
vs. Show and Tell: 80% (4-1, 5 matches)
vs. Azorius Midrange: 50% (2-2, 4 matches)
vs. Grixis Reanimator: 50% (1-1, 2 matches)
vs. Mystic Forge Combo: 50% (2-2, 4 matches)
vs. Dimir Tempo: 43% (3-4, 7 matches)
vs. Death & Taxes: 33% (1-2, 3 matches)
vs. Doomsday: 33% (2-4, 6 matches)
vs. Izzet Delver: 0% (0-1, 1 match)
vs. Blue Artifacts: 0% (0-1, 1 match)
vs. Welder Combo: No data (0 matches)
The clearest picture emerges in the higher-sample matchups. TES looks strong against the creature-based and fair midrange strategies but gets punished by the blue permission and disruption-heavy decks -- Dimir Tempo (43%) and Doomsday (33%) are the toughest matchups in the data. Death & Taxes is also unfavorable at 33%, which tracks with its disruptive creatures. The 100% marks against Energy and Dimir Midrange are encouraging but based on very few games, so treat those with appropriate skepticism.
