Let me check what's happening in Legacy recently that might be causing concern for players.

Oh no, I can see exactly what Legacy players are dealing with right now! The data shows a concerning pattern:

Dimir Reanimator is absolutely dominating Legacy - it's sitting at 17% meta share with a solid 56.2% winrate over the past month. That's nearly 1 in 5 decks in the format, which is extremely unhealthy for diversity.

Looking at the recent ban history, we can see the problem:

  • December 2024: Psychic Frog and Vexing Bauble were banned
  • March 2025: Sowing Mycospawn and Troll of Khazad-dum were banned

Despite these attempts to reign in problematic strategies, Dimir Reanimator has maintained consistent dominance - it's been hovering around 15-19% of the meta for weeks with strong winrates throughout.

The meta is extremely warped with just the top 5 archetypes accounting for over 40% of all entries:
โ€ข Dimir Reanimator - 17.0% (dominant)
โ€ข Mono Red Prison - 7.3%
โ€ข Izzet Delver - 6.3%
โ€ข Mystic Forge Combo - 5.9%
โ€ข Oops! All Spells - 5.3%

This level of concentration around graveyard strategies and prison elements makes the format feel oppressive and limits viable deck diversity. Legacy players are stuck dealing with a meta where nearly every match involves either unfair graveyard nonsense or getting locked out by prison pieces.
